ACT (Anstey Christians Together) Discussion Group

Our aim is to bring people together from both West Anstey and East Anstey and surrounding villages, who are interested in exploring the Christian faith or who want to deepen their personal faith through fellowship and bible study.  The meetings are open to anyone who wants to come along – you don’t have to belong to a church!  Everyone receives a warm welcome with no pressure to join every monthly meeting – you can come regularly or pop in when you want to.

Regarding our meetings, we don’t have a great ‘plan’ for the year ahead, we are guided by the Holy Spirit as we pray and plan the meetings, only looking two or three months ahead at a time. We meet once a month on a Wednesday evening at various homes in East and West Anstey. Evenings can include bible studies, guest speakers, film nights, sharing poetry and music in a garden in summer and celebrating Advent with a party.  A summer outing is usually arranged and we have visited Lee Abbey and Stoke Pero.  Ideas for other evenings are very warmly welcomed.

What we do:

To sustain and develop the fellowship we have within ACT and to continue to provide opportunities for our wider communities to explore matters of spirituality.

To find additional ways for people who don't come to church to engage with matters of faith.

As a group we support Messy church at West Anstey Village Hall every two or three months by cooking lunch for the children and parents.

All are Welcome
